Our very own Patrick Ballantyne has released a music video for his song “Plans”, the closing track, and lyrical namesake of his latest album “Calendar”, released October 2017 via Northwood Records ( http://northwoodmusic.ca ).
While no stranger to the Canadian music scene, having written hits with the likes of Big Sugar, The Trews, and the East Pointers, Calendar marks Ballantyne’s 3rd full length record – but this marks his first ever music video.
Patrick had this to say about the video:
“Plans is a fairly serious song about trying to change behavior… Improving behaviour, actually. It’s about stopping destructive behaviour and moving forward with a more positive agenda. Director Matt Connell‘s interpretation of the song reflects it’s sombre mood – but in a very lighthearted way, gently poking fun at time wasting… and expecting results from futile activities. Oh the places you’ll go with plans!!”
